hatchu mother nature.

my brown flats have just about had it. they are falling apart. but i love these flats. their so cute. i got them at maurices back in March, but after the vigorous(i dont think i spelled that right) wearing, and Louis packing them around in his mouth, and chewing on them, they are about to be retired. ive looked at maurices and maurices.com, and i cant find a pair of the same flats....so note to self : I need to buy two pairs of the same shoes if i find i really love them next time.

but lets get serious....i have 16 pairs of different shoes at home, and only one pair of semi-boot'ish shoes. i need some boots folks. i took my mom to work this morning, and i was helping her in my car and she said "anna i dont know how you keep your feet warm in those shoes." i just sighed and said "i dont know how either mom."
one time while i was at school it was snowing so bad outside, and my dear friend sami and i had to make the dreadful journey from the student center at slcc to the administration building where our cosmetology classes are held at slcc (for those of you who dont know its not a way far walk, but in the snow...in flats...it felt like a mile), and by the time we got to the administration building our feet were so frozen solid and just bright bright red! thankfully the barbering lab had some hot towels that they usually use for face shaves all heated up, and so we just took a couple of those and warmed our feet right up ;)
so...
im pretty picky about my boots though...thats probably why i dont have any. but im desperate. im not currently attending classes, and my work doesnt have hot towels handy at any given time...so today after work (or tomorrow) i plan on taking the last few dollars in my 'fun money' budget and purchasing a pair of boots so that i might have warm toes in all this SNOW! its neccessary though, and probably more neccessary than a pair of replacement brown flats.

EFF YOU MOTHER NATURE. bring me back the sun......
